The talented senior midfielder enters her final year in Green and White with the high expectations of being a vital cog in the Spartan’s offensive machine. Curtis, who comes to East Lansing from just a short drive down US-127 at Dewitt High School, will move back to midfield this year to take advantage of her size and speed. Curtis suffered through a tough injury-laden sophomore season, but will be an important part of the Michigan State offense. According to the Michigan State coaching staff, Curtis has the ability to be a scoring machine. “Colleen has worked hard and finally bought into the offensive system we’ve been teaching her in East Lansing. Colleen is extremely athletic and has speed to burn and that’s important in lacrosse. She’s is extremely coachable. Colleen is a quick learner and she’ll help this team win this spring. We expect big things from her this season,” said Greg Normand, Michigan State’s head coach. |
