The talented defenseman is another player in the long line of Caledonia High School talent that has come through the Michigan State’s womens lacrosse program in recent times. Frey joins fellow Caledonian Amy Kuzava this spring to give the Spartans another strong presence on the back line. Frey will likely be a starter in 2016 because of her lax IQ and an ability to play under control. “Liz is not the fastest player we have defensively, but she rarely makes a mistake and I can always count on her making the right play. Liz is going to be strong asset this year and she’ll only get better with time,” said Brent Hiner, MSU’s defensive coach. |
