Biography Arguably one of the most decorated high school players coming out of Birmingham three years ago, Sarah Feiten has joined the Spartans after playing a vital role for Division III powerhouse Rollins College. The skilled and talented midfielder gives Michigan State a ‘go-to player,’ in tight game situations and Feiten has a complete game, which can only bolster the solid midline she’s playing on right now. “When you watch Sarah play, it doesn’t take long to see that she’s a gifted athlete. She’s a great lacrosse player, but it’s her competitive spirit that has me applauding from the sidelines,” said Greg Normand, MSU’s head coach. “I could use four or five more of her.” Normand said there are few aspects of the game that don’t come easy, but the hard-working junior takes little for granted. Normand said Feiten’s work ethic has made her a locker room leader without an official title because players just gravitate towards her. “She just makes those around her better……everyday,” Normand said. Feiten won a MHSAA high school title in high school and hopes to help the Spartans back to the greener side of the road.
